Modesto City Schools is introducing a new and improved bus tracking app for the 2025-2026 school year. Stopfinder will replace the MyView app and will be used by all families with students who ride MCS buses, including both General Education and non-ambulatory Special Education riders.
What You Need to Know:
Stopfinder provides real-time GPS tracking, location-based alerts, and secure access tied to your student’s schedule.
Families will receive an invitation to create a Stopfinder account before the start of school.
Be ready by the first day of school — August 12!
Action Required:
Step 1: Update your email address in the PowerSchool Parent Portal.
Your Stopfinder invite will be sent to the email listed in PowerSchool.

Step 2: Watch for the Stopfinder email invitation
It will include a link to create your account and download the free app.
Step 3: Sign up ASAP to ensure you can track your student’s bus on the first day of school.
